Our chicken Meal and other meat sources do not contain poultry by-products or other by-products like chicken feet, chicken heads, duck heads, beaks, feathers, fish heads, hides, hoofs and intestines.  These is no corn, cottonseed, corn cobs, citrus pulp, breakfast food by-products, soy beans, fillers, and no screening or other foreign materials such as noxious weeds, straw, hulls or chaff in our product.

Most brands of dog food include some of those by-products and chemical preservatives.  The use of low quality products and chemical preservatives may be associated with dry skin, allergic reactions, dental disease, poor health and degenerative organ dysfunction.  The average dog (44lbs) can consume 26lbs of preservatives each year.

Some manufacturers have recently added tocopherols in place of chemicals and removed some by-products from their products.  They do not advertise this change as they don't wand to admit to the public the earlier problems with their use.  However, those that have followed the industry over the years have seen a number of pet food products recalled from the market - some just recently.  Often the use of cheap moldy grains not fit for consumption is the cause of harmful toxins in pet foods.  While some industry changes have been made for the better - still much work needs to be done to improve pet food quality that is sold to the uninformed customer.

The Chicken Meal and Rice formula is OVEN-BAKED under carefully controlled conditions and temperatures-resulting in better nutrition, palatability and digestibility for your pet.  The ultimate in premium nutrition and gourmet dining!

Oven-baking changes hard to digest starches into easy to digest dextrins, which are readily absorbed into your dog's system.  The secret to good nutrition is not how many nutrients are present in a dog's food, but rather , how available they are and how efficiently they can be utilized when digested.  The good value is baked-in, not sprayed on.

Because the Kibble is high density, you feed 20%-25% less than other foods.  Each serving delivers maximum nutrition without fillers, so you'll also notice a lower stool volume and less clean-up.

The Chicken Meal and Rice formula is made with rice and wheat.  Ordinary dog foods are made with corn.  Rice and Wheat are easier to digest than corn;  therefore, easier on your dog's system.  Various selected parts of the wheat berry are used along with whole wheat flour as it is one of the most nutritionally balanced grains.  A combination of grains provides better nutrition than one grain.

There's no sprayed-on additive or greasy coating to make the taste acceptable.  Ordinary dog foods are extruded under high pressure and extreme temperatures and then sprayed with fat and other products in order to encourage dogs to eat.

FEEDING GUIDE for Senior PLUS

Feed your dog once or twice a day.  Have plenty of fresh water available.  Food requirements vary depending on climate, breed of dog and exercise activity.  Following are suggested amounts.  Feed an amount that will maintain your dog's weight.

GLUCOSAMINE and CHONDROITIN Sulfate

- A natural polymer of protein and disaccharides is composed of glucosamine, galactosamine and glucuronic acid - collectively, chondroitin sulfates make up a major portion of the GAG's (glycosaminoglycans) in cartilage.   Glucosamine - a precursor of hyaluronic acid and other GAG's - helps with cartilage repair.  Hyaluronic Acid - a principal component of cartilage helps with inflammation and discomfort.

OSTEOARTHRITIS - knees or elbows - damaged cartilage occurs in these joints secondary to dislocating knee caps, torn ligaments within the knee, hereditary and congenital malformations of the knees, elbows or trauma.

GAG's should be a part of a complete care program supervised by your veterinarian.  There is no need to wait for the symptoms of Arthritis to become pronounced to start using Jubilee Wafers - it works as a great preventative.  It can even be started in young dogs known to have a predisposition to hip, elbow, knee or shoulder dysplasias in canines.  Any dog that has experienced severe joint trauma will benefit.
